Answers, not dashboards

Benchmarks tell you that something is off. Research tells you why, and what to do about it.

What it's for

The questions worth paying to answer

We take one business question at a time and answer it properly. Not a subscription to a dashboard you will stop opening — a scoped piece of work with a written conclusion you can act on.

  • Is there a market for this, and how big is it really?
  • Why are customers choosing a competitor over us?
  • What will people actually pay for this?
  • Which segment should we build for first?
  • Is the problem the product, the price, or the message?
Methods we useprimary + secondary
Surveys & questionnairesScale — what most people think
In-depth interviewsDepth — why they think it
Focus groupsReaction — how they respond together
Desk & competitor researchContext — what is already known
Web & social analyticsBehaviour — what people actually do
How it operates

How a project runs

Four stages. You see something at the end of each, so a project never goes quiet for weeks.

1

Scope

We agree the single question, who to ask, and what a useful answer looks like. Written down before anyone starts, so "useful" is not decided at the end.

2

Design

Method, sample and instrument. A badly worded question produces confident, wrong data — so the instrument is reviewed before it goes anywhere near a respondent.

3

Field & analyse

We collect, clean and analyse. You get an interim read part-way, so a surprise in the data reaches you while there is still time to act.

4

Report

Findings, what they mean, and a recommendation. Plus the raw data, because the conclusion should be checkable.

What you get

Deliverables

Written report
Findings, method, limitations and a clear recommendation.
The raw data
Cleaned dataset in CSV or Excel. It is yours, not ours.
Charts and tables
Presentation-ready, so the findings survive the next meeting.
A walkthrough
A call where you can push back on the conclusion.

Priced per project — scope drives cost, so a sizing study and a full segmentation are not quoted the same way. See where you stand first →
